*dea Vs Ice*?

Which agency has more excitement? What is a normal day close to for each of them? Do they both do surveillance, arrests, undercover operations, etc.? Do any of them have to be "on-call", hold irregular work hours(15 hour days etc.) or have to go on unexpected makeshift travel? Which agency do you think is better to work for/better field-action? Any info on any of this would be great, thanks!

Answer:
ICE usually works within a county or municipality (or together). DEA is an arm of the governing body. I would suggest ICE to start. They do so much work around the clock, where DEA works big operations and on different levels though out the country. If you are a short time ago getting into Law Enforcement, go talk to someone at the PD. They often times propose ride-along programs as a way to hang out with the police. I don't suspect they would put you beside ICE agents on a ride along, as the risks are too high for injury, death, etc. Good luck to you, hope this helps.
